I came to you for a second opinion about what I was told by my Ford dealership service writer as the need for new rear disc brake pads. My first concern is that service work that I've had done previously at the Ford dealership always ends up taking longer than predicted which results in frustratingly having my car tied up in the shop for more than one day to do a relatively simple procedure that should have only taken a single day to complete. I'm simply tired of this treatment by the dealership. Your service writer said that the job could definitely be done in a single day without the frustration of tying my car up longer than expected and I wanted a better alternative. Secondly, following the inspection of both front and rear disc brake pads, your technician determined that there was sufficient thickness remaining on the existing pads of all four wheels that replacement with new pads was not necessary at this time. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and did not need another appointment for the brake pad replacement. Thankfully, the honesty in your shop prevails over the greed of the dealership. Thanks!
